Our company is involved in the energy simulations and analyses required to achieve DGNB certification. We wanted to present our latest project in this field.
Recently we have made a simulation of thermal comfort and indoor air quality necessary to achieve DGNB certificate for production and storage building in Tczew. For this purpose, a model of the building was created in the simulation program. The aim of the study was to prove the fulfilment of specific requirements of this building certification system.
In selected rooms for each hour of the year the parameters were calculated:
– Operating temperature
– Asymmetry of radiation temperature and floor temperature
– Carbon dioxide concentration (ventilation system operation)

Such simulations allow for a better understanding of the operation of the buildings and learn what affects the comfort parameters. Our calculations have confirmed that the rooms we check meet the requirements of DGNB certificate.
