We have made further calculations of 3D thermal bridges for structural elements of the building’s external facade. We were looking for a solution to minimize the impact on the thermal conductivity of the partition while optimizing costs.
We checked, among other things, various structural solutions, insulation thicknesses or the type of materials used and their influence on the thermal bridge point, temperature distribution, etc.
Appropriate design of building partitions thanks to the use of thermal bridge modeling allows to avoid too low temperatures on the internal side of the partition. This prevents water from dropping into the partition and thus the development of mould.
